In our continued effort to provide entertainment value to our guests, we have invested in a first-class aerial artist focused circus! It is a high-end production and over the the day fair will feature 3 shows daily at a seating capacity of 700 per show

The Funny Waiter

John Park is The Funny Waiter. This quick paced, hilarious variety show features everything from plate spinning to unicycling and fire juggling! Park’s wide-ranging career has taken him from Hollywood, where he appeared on HBO's award-winning "Larry Sanders Show" starring Garry Shandling, to Las Vegas, where he performed in "Splash" at the Riviera Hotel and Casino on the Strip.

Heritage Village Music Series

Heritage Village transports guests to a different time in Virginia history. This year, in addition to historical reenactments, displays and artifacts, fairgoers will also be able to enjoy acoustic music to aid in their time travel. The Crooked Road On Tour at the State Fair of Virginia includes Jim Lloyd, Martha Spencer & Larry Sigmon, Five Mile Mountain Road, and Andrew Small & Ashley Watkins to delight crowds while performing in Heritage Village.
All of these artists are part of the esteemed The Crooked Road: Virginia's Heritage Music Trail.

These performances are supported in part by The Virginia Commission for the Arts and National Endowment for the Arts.

Livestock Competitions

Celebrate all your favorite farm animals at the fair! Many of the animals at the fair are competing to be considered the Best of Virginia. Hardworking adults and youth come from all over the Commonwealth to compete. These competitions take place on the Southside of the property in Livestock Loop.

While Young MacDonald's Farm presented by Farm Credit, in Harvest Landing, is always full of your favorite farm critters.
