The 2026 Chainsaw Auction was a tremendous success, raising $10,000 for the State Fair of Virginia Scholarship Program. All proceeds from the auction will help support educational opportunities for deserving students.

About the Auction
Talented chainsaw artist Chad Gainey donated a collection of handcrafted carvings that were auctioned during the final day of the 2026 State Fair of Virginia. The live auction drew enthusiastic bidders, with every purchase contributing directly to scholarship funding.
