2022 Virginia Farm Festival Schedule

General Information

Parking is free, please enter at Gate 2.

Purchase your tickets in advance and skip the lines! Ages 4 and under are free. Link above.

We are open 10 AM - 5 PM Saturday and Sunday.

Pets are not allowed on the grounds during the Farm Festival, with the exception of service animals as defined in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or animals approved as part of an exhibition. Service animals are those that have been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task an animal has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability. Animals whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.

We do have a handful of volunteer needs. If you are interested, please complete this interest form here.

All other Meadow Event Park / State Fair rules do apply to the Virginia Farm Festival. Please check the FAQ page for additional info.

Planting Seeds for the Future

The vision for the Virginia Farm Festival grew out of a desire to expand the educational components of the State Fair of Virginia into a new spring event in order to tell the story of spring planting and bring families together as we work to grow our yearlong commitment to serving Virginia's youth, families, and agricultural communities as Virginia's Largest Outdoor Classroom.

This event successfully launched in May of 2021 as one of the region’s first live events to take place! Over 6,000 attendees enjoyed being outdoors and learning more about agriculture.

This family-friendly event would not be complete without:

  • Meeting the farm animals
  • Exploring the garden (and maybe even getting hands a little dirty)
  • Playing in the AGtivity zone
  • Getting some fair food favorites
  • Enjoying food demonstrations & live entertainment

Check back for more information about tickets, entertainment, activities and vendors!
